too much.culture shock was just an understatement.
i dun understand why n how can anyone accept that.
i'm even more surprise that they call that their "culture".
that was seriously one big joke.
i've nv felt so humiliated in my life before.
i'm still not over it.
i guess it's gonna take a while.
if that was what they have been wanting to achieve, all i can say is that their beliefs n values are all screwed.
they've been brainwashed to think that what they have done was acceptable.
how wrong can a company get?
that is seriously one screwed up company with too much politics.
even if u're the camp chief with the 'final' say will not have the last call.
i dun think i'm stupid or dumb to have stepped into that company.
all i wanted to do was just to help a friend, and do a camp tgt with instructors whom i have been doing camps with in the past.
all i wanted was a get together in camp.
i have nv asked to be scrutinised at.
i have nv wanted to step on anyone's toes.
i have nv asked to be humiliated that way.
it wasnt a matter of whether we were sporting enough or not.
it was a matter of respect, pride n dignity.
no, we're not arrogant.
no, we nv wanted to draw the line, it was inevitable.
when that happened, u didnt show us any respect as friends.
u also robbed us of the respect we earned from the kids.
u robbed us of the professional image we have portrayed in front of the teachers.
n one of u even said we were unprofessional to walk off from the campfire.
just how many of u have been thru that?
how many of u know how we felt exactly thru out the whole two days before the campfire?
do u even know how much shit we haven been taking in silently?
"welcome instructors"
what a way to welcome us when u didnt even make us feel welcome at all.
talk abt professionalism.
if u were that professional, the whole incident wouldnt have happened in the first place.
the whole damn thing would have been different if it werent part of the campfire item.
for someone like me, i'm alr feeling so horrible and affected by it.
i seriously cant imagine how the other two of my friends feel since they are so much more experienced and senior than me.
i was right abt the company all along.
i have nv wanted to step into that company, only close friends who do camps with me will understand why i did that.
i always knew they were harsh towards kids.
but i never knew how harsh they were to the kids.
they calls kids stupid, ask them to shut up.
wow.
when u're an instructor.
these are the only ppl who can go thru that kind of treatment thinking that there's nothing wrong with it.
i really look down on any instructors who are guilty of any of the above.
u shd be ashamed of urself.
that is seriously fucked up n loserish company.
all they have is a good campsite which i believe that's the ONLY reason why schools are choosing that screwed up company over so many other better companies ard in the industry.
the camp that i was mentioning happened in may.
n if u've been following my blog, u would have known what happened in my stats n socio exams.
so i conclude,
may is such a screwed up month.
june is gonna be much much much much much better. yes it will be!this camp also made me realise how many good friends i have around me.
baoling, munting,lingxiang,jinger,charles,jason n nic.
i really love each n everyone of u.
i'm sure this had definitely made all of us closer and stronger.
the power of friendship.
understanding you, doesnt mean i agree with your actions.recently, i get exasperated easily and cry over little things.i feel so emo-fied.
