Lost............
last week, took a cab down to fmps with huaz, shai n mel for their china trip briefing... and it was mad rush... but i still found time to cam whore in the cab. LOL. the back light of the vehicle in front of us made huaz & i look like some "red light district" girls. ah ha... not funny eh.
Poor Mel even had to work on the cab... fyi... the ride was no longer than 15min. haha! tt's how amazing these ppl are.
Finally when we arrived at fmps, i quickly just dumped everything into my bag, and alighted.
when we were on our way to the hall, i searched for my camera case........
IT'S NOT THERE!!!!!!!!!!!
i even asked huaz n shai to see if they took it for me... but nope. it's not there!!!! MUST BE IN THE CAB!!!
thankfully mel got a receipt before we alighted, so i happily called the operator thinking tt i had a high chance of recovering it.
only to find out that there was no vehicle no. printed on the damn receipt.
"do u see any 4 digit no. on the receipt?"
"yah, only the receipt no. XXXX"
"look again, do u see any other 4 digit no.?"
"no, there isnt, only the receipt no. , are u able to track down anything from the receipt no.?"
"no, i'm sorry, i cant do anything with the receipt no. . u look again, is there anything that starts with SHB or sth like that?"
*got super irritated
" NO, THE RECEIPT IS JUST RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, AND I HAVE SAID MANY TIMES THAT THERE ISNT ANY VEHICLE NO ON IT! I'VE SAID THAT MANY TIMES AND I THINK U SHD DO STH DO UR RECEIPT SYSTEM INSTEAD OF ASKING ME THE SAME THING OVER & OVER."
knowing that i was super pissed alr, the operator finally offered to broadcast to all the cabbies, and get back to me.
hours later i still didnt get any reply from them.. and i was trying very hard to get thru to them... but all i hear is this: "sorry, all our telephone operators are engaged, pls try again later"
how frustrating can it get?
finally when i got thru............. i gave them a talking-to. haha! i know i shdnt have been so mean to vent my frustration on them over a camera case. but it's a camera case which i've grown to love! and it's rather new... came with my new cam... my cam wun be a complete set w/o it! haha! drama-mama. but really lah... it's just irritating to lose things.......... esp when u thought u had it with u all along. (now i'm reminded of my mp4 player which i lost too... still damn sad over it)
they told me that NONE of their taxi drivers has gotten back to them... how depressing... it's really gone alr...
when i reached home that night... i looked thru the pictures that i took in the cab...( wanted to re-live those few minutes when i still has my camera case with it... hahah!) and i found sth... the vehicle no.!!!
it's in one of the picture above.. the one with mel in it. if u cant find it.... u're not very observant... haha! well, u cant actually see it.. but if u can recall, within the interior of the cab... they actually have their vehicle no. in it... refer to mel's picture.. it's actually diagonally above the left corner of the laptop screen. gotta click on the picture to enlarge to see. the vehicle no is just there!
immediately i called back and told them i found the vehicle no... and when they asked how i found it............. i exp. i think even they were amazed.
yes..... i really think this whole damn thing is sooooooooooooooooo amazing... everything that happens, happens for a reason, as cliche as it sounds, it's indeed very true.
-why did i take a picture of mel? (not like he look damn suave working? hahaha! kiddin)
-why in that angle that captured the vehicle no.?
-how the heck did i even recall that i can actually zoom in alllllllllll the way to see the vehicle no.?
everything is just so amazing.
next morning, got a call from them, and my camera case is found. =)
lost.... and amazingly found.
Last sat... returned home and found a dog in my house! my mum & sis volunteered to babysit it for a day cos they are gg to m'sia.
and i tell u.. that dog freaked the shit outta me.
yes, useless ziwan is afraid of dogs... regardless of their size! ALL SIZES!
but the dog is soooooooooooo cute that i forced myself to take a picture with it... and my mum had to hold the dog up and pass it to me before i could take the picture below. haha!!
looks so much like a teddy bear, doesnt it?! damn cute. and it's super pampered at home. sleeps with the owner on the bed in an aircon room. so after it got tired of running ard, it conveniently parked itself between my dad's legs on the bed, but got dragged outta bed by my mum. haha!
so adorable! my sis has been wanting a dog so badly recently! it better not be any siao gao if we do successfully get one, though its very unlikely. dogs like jack russells that are super active can forget about entering my house, my heart cant take it. hahah!had a costume fitting for the event on sat @ sentosa. really looking forward to it. many of my friends will be in the event with me! friends, pls pls pls pray hard for me that weather will be superb, and everything will run smoothly! Make all my zombified days in the mornings esp worth it all.
